We’ve all been in that situation where our car wouldn’t start. This recently happened to me, and as a realtor it was a major issue. We went through all the at home diagnostics we could. Once we realized it was beyond out very limited expertise, we had my beloved Ford Explorer, Maggie, towed to our local mechanic. Now please understand, Maggie is a member of the family and my second most important business partner, so we had to take her somewhere that would understand how important she was to me and my business. That place was Worthey Automotive.

Pat Worthey, owner of Worthey Automotive, called to let me know that Maggie’s computer had died. He explained that he could get a computer easily but that programming could be a hassle. Normally to reprogram a computer, Pat would need to take it to a dealership, or would have to schedule an appointment with a mobile re-programmer. Pat decided that he was seeing this issue enough that it was time to get the tools and programs necessary to provide the absolute best service to his customers. Now, his shop is one of the only in town with this ability. He’s also now certified by the National Traffic Safety Administration (NHSTA) to reset car security systems and reprogram keys on vehicles 2015 or newer.
